Following years of critical acclaim at restaurants in the
Milwaukee area, Weber now leads the culinary team and day-to-
day operations at Mason Street Grill.
Mark Weber found his culinary calling long before worldrenowned
Chef Paul Bocuse, considered one of the finest cooks
of the 20th century and creator of French Nouvelle Cuisine,
expressed high regards for a plate specially created for him by
Weber.
Tyler Malson grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, finding interest in the Culinary Arts at an early age. While in high school, he worked as a line cook at the Horse and Plow, an American Club restaurant. From there, Malson went to Hyde Park, New York, to attend school at the Culinary Institute of America. During his education he completed an externship at Restaurant Beacon in Manhattan, under Chef Waldy Malouf, former chef of the
Hudson River Club and Windows of the World.
Upon completing school, Chef Malson returned to
Kohler, Wisconsin working in several outlets
including, butcher, Kohler’s private membership
club at the Riverbend Mansion, and Blackwolf Run
golf course. He spent winters in Southern California assisting with the opening of the private club at The Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells, home to a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course.
When Chef Malson returned, he took the position of Sous Chef at the Intercontinental Milwaukee Hotel. After working with Executive Chef Robert Ash for two years, Malson moved into the position of Chef de Cuisine at the Milwaukee ChopHouse located at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Most recently Malson accepted the position of Chef de Cuisine at Mason Street Grill, where he continues to present unique dishes and twists on American Regional Cuisine.
"I have worked with many great Chefs from Coast to Coast and am very pleased to share my experiences and talent with anyone who sits at my table. I have a strong emphasis on American regional cuisine with strong French influence. I look forward to seeing you at Mason Street Grill!"
